Welcome to our site. We are Black Island Technologies Ltd and we're a new tech company based in West London (near Heathrow Airport). At the moment we design websites for a wide range of clients, but we also build custom-spec computer systems for end users such as individuals and businesses.
The consultation stage involves us meeting up with you (sometimes more than once) to discover what it is you need in a website and how we can help you. At this stage we ask questions about your target audience, estimated budget as well as looking at the future of your potential website and how you expect it to evolve as time goes on.
The development stage involves many paper designs, photoshop mockups and re-iterations until we come up with a final picture of what your website will look like when its finished. This helps us as well as we know what we should be working towards when we begin the coding. We also set up a dedicated folder for you to track the progress of your website development as we create new pages, graphics and content.
When implementing your website we go through several stages of testing as well. We ensure your website looks as good in older browsers as it does in the more modern browsers. As the deadline approaches and we prepare to go live, we do a pre-launch, which is where we run through the website from start to finish to ensure everything has been completed to your standards, and we also make any final (minor) changes.
